  1. Have you two thought of a reality show? Dave could pitch it next-time he's in L.A.

I'm a romantic. Love, a partnership, they will happen when they are meant to happen. We can only, honestly, focus on our own existence. I'm a firm believer that, when we've reached a point of wholeness in our existence (even if it is fleeting), things we want will gravitate to us.

No way would Van Gogh have been as interesting without the life he led. I feel that way towards most artists I admire. I've seen many, many brilliant artists as far as technical skills go. But it is only the artists that have a good story to back their work that I want to see more of. . . study.

I know you know that about me, Richard. There has to be more to a piece than just images. I think it is precisely what seperates art from design. Case in point being Warhol. His work was obviously design oriented but his motivation for creating it. . . THAT'S what made it art. Same with Pollock. See a splattered canvas that's not a Pollock. . . it's decorative art. Know what I mean?

    ANYway!

  2. Ha! I was typing before I got to the last bit. I think Dave COMPLETELY got it. "Live it." I'm thinking that's key.
